Varies Differeces between colonies

It is very obvious that throughout history different colonies have displayed different characteristics, ranging from their founder to their charter, making them each individually unique. Virginia, a colony, started by the Virginia Company, was officially initiated by King James. With the disbandment of The Virginia Company of Plymouth, The Virgina Company of London (The Virginia Company) had isolated power to colonize the North Americans. They expected to retrieve silver and gold though their expedition in 1607, but instead faced death one on one, due to disease, starvation, and the Powhatan people. What started with 150 colonist, ultimately ended in 38- a tragic decrease in population. Luckily one intelligent colonist, John Rulse, collected tabacco from the expedition to export back to England. Like the Powhatan people, The Puritan were upset because of religious persecution and discoragement in reform. Surprisingly, a man neamed Winthrop obtained a charter for the Massachusetts Bay Colony, which provided a land grant. The Puritans migrated to North America with a much more thorough plan than the Virginia Company who faced tremendous deaths. Also the population of men in the colony far will exceeded 150 men- but 20,000 men. Because of the Great Migration, the church/states worked collaboratively to create civil morality.

Another group of different people known as the Separatist founded Plymouth Colony and eventually fled to Holland and eventually to America, only because King James did not agree with the Separatist viewpoints. The population of the Piligram families that initiated the Plymouth Colony is unknown. Unlike other colonies Plymouth Colony did not try to attribute wealth through illogical, immoral. and unplanned tactics like the Virginia Colony. Maryland on the other hand, was a colony founded by Lord Bothmore a newly converted Catholic. It is very obvious that Maryland establish a colony for religious purposes. In initiating the colony, being before 1649, there were minor issue with the Protestants and the Catholics. Through the Maryland Toleration Act everyone had to practice Christianity or be punished. Maryland eventually became a state. The population of the colony is unknown.

The Conneticut Colony, which later became a state, was founded by Crowell in the late 1630s. After colonization the English and the Native Americas began to fight during the Pequot War. The population of the colony is unknown. Rhode Island, which later became a colony, was founded by Roger Williams. The colony was established for religious purposes, unlike the Conneticut Colony. The colony was specifically established because of extreme persecution.

Delaware, a persistent colony in search of a stable settlement, was founded in 1638 by Peter Minuit. The Swedes and Finn migrated to Delaware but the Dutch was not going to have any such thing to happen. They consistently protested and the Delaware Colony migrated elsewhere.
New York, a colony, was founded by Henry Hudson. The colony migrated to the New Netherland and eventually called it NewYork. The settlement that took place in New York was called Fort Orange. The Purpose for the New York colony was the fact that the English failed to perform the wanted voyage to India, and other place as well, like Newfoundland, so they eventually migrated to New York for ultimate settlement. The population is unknow.

Pennsylvania, later became a state, was founded by William Penn. The purpose of the colony was to allow others to have liberation from practicing religion. The colony primarily protected the Quakers from persecution. The colony was established in 1682. And finally Georgia, a colony, was founded by James Oglethorpe. The colony was given a charter from King George II to establish a new colony. The purpose of the colony was to serve as a place where debtors in prison could go to start anew and it served the purpose of the Spanish not continuing their expansion to Florida.
